Today was, and still is, blustery and cold outside. So I made a simmering pot of one of my favorites, homemade goulash. I just ate some with a buttered roll and a salad, and topped it off with a homemade lemon poppyseed tea ring

Ooooh---that looks so good! The only thing I would change would be a French dressing on the salad. Of course, you must have had coffee with your cake, right?! Wish I lived closer as I'd be right over!
