Today was, and still is, blustery and cold outside. So I made a simmering pot of one of my favorites, homemade goulash. I just ate some with a buttered roll and a salad, and topped it off with a homemade lemon poppyseed tea ring . Yum! And I have a lot left over so I can take some in to work this weekend, where I'm working the dreaded 11-7 shift Friday and Saturday nights. But then I'm off until Wednesday, so that's a nice little stretch off. Bundle up if you live in New York and have to go outside in the next 24 hours!

  1. Ooooh---that looks so good! The only thing I would change would be a French dressing on the salad. Of course, you must have had coffee with your cake, right?! Wish I lived closer as I'd be right over!
