After a very long stretch of hard work at the hospital last week, I finally got to enjoy a nice walk around a small lake near us.I enjoyed the wild flowers growing alongside the paths, and spotted this very large orange mushroom.I went here last fall and it was absolutely georgeous there, with brilliant orange and red trees.I hope I can have some family members down again later this year---maybe we could all go for a nice nature walk in the peace and quiet of this beautiful countryside.

  1. Nice pics Carol. Think you can make some tea from that 'shroom? 8^)

  2. Wild mushrooms are a no-no!

Love your photography, especially of the wooded path. It looks so lush and green. That is one benefit of all the rain---nothing looks dried out in the least.

I would love to take a walk in that area, too!
