Even though Easter is 2 weeks away, I was compelled by the great 60 degree weather this past weekend to orchestrate an Easter egg hunt for my 5 grandchildren. It was held at my daughter Jennifer's home in the country. It was a lot of fun for everyone, and we had pizza and a homemade peanut butter pie for eats. The small ones enjoyed some of the treats I hid in their eggs, along with the adorable plastic light-up frogs & ducks I put into jumbo plastic eggs. I found them at a CVS drugstore for $1.99 apiece! The frogs come in 2 shades of green, and when you hold them a sensor makes them turn a lot of different colors which wave throuout the frog, then all the colors start blinking quickly at the end. They looked really cool in the dark! I think I had more fun with them than the kids! Of course, it IS still March, and the lawns are a little on the SOFT side, so DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT wear high-healed shoes on an egg hunt like my youngest daughter Noelle did!
