So far it has been a very cold and blustery March! But I have my magazines to help me pass the time until spring finally gets here. My favorites are Yankee, Reminisce, and Country. I like to curl up in bed at night and read through them. They all have such nice pictures in them. While I was outside on one of the milder days, I saw this poor squirrell who apparently lost some of his tail, so that he now looks like a "Peter Cottontail" from the back! What is left of his tail is this bushy little white fluff ball! He doesn't seem to mind it, though. Perhaps a stray cat or some other animal got ahold of him a while ago. Meanwhile, I'm looking for my first robin of the spring...

I get reminisce as well. GO SQUIRREL!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's cool in the mornings here but warming into the 70's in the day.
This squirrel has character and doesn't care what his fellow rodents are wearing this spring! The magazines are the best. I, too, love the photos and the articles are so homey and down-to-earth. There will be more daylight soon, as we set the clocks ahead Saturday. Nice pictures, Carol.
ReplyDeleteLacey says that the squirrel just wanted to lose some of her "booty" before swimsuit season.
