I'm off from work for 6 whole days! I started my mini-vacation by getting up at 5:30 this morning(no sleeping in for me!)and going to Binghamton's annual Speidi/Ballon Fest at Otseningo Park. We met my son and his wife and my grandson there to watch the hot air balloons go up. It was Noah's 1st glimpse of the affair, and he seemed to really enjoy all the colorful balloons. It was a perfect weather morning for the event. My husband and I walked around the park afterward and were rewarded by capturing a few pictures of a blue heron by the pond there. We then went to breakfast at The Cracker Barrel restaurant. I'll probably go blueberry picking later today. I also just remembered to take a picture of this month's "POTTY PIC" for you all to enjoy!(Hopefully it won't be too long til the cowboy is "back in the saddle again"!)Enjoy the great weather today! ReplyDeleteWhat an action shot of the blue heron taking off. Good work, Carol. I'm sure it was a feast of the senses for Noah at the balloon/speidi fest. The thing Lew loved best about the tripe cities was speidies! No place makes them as good. I look forward to seeing more fun stuff on LUCKY 7. Later, buckeraoo.
