I've been going wild with blueberries!Blueberry cobbler, blueberry-lemon bread, blueberries by the handful, blueberries on cereal, etc. And I've frozen 8 quarts for baking pies and other goodies later this year. I've got them up in the freezer with strawberries, sour cherries, and rhubarb. Fall will be here before we know it, and then I can pick lots of apples! I guess I'm just a cotton-pik'in picker! I'll pick anything---except my nose! P.S. This is dedicated to my brother, Timmy, who we all love berry, berry much!
Wow and wow---everything looks delish! The blueberry-lemon bread is something I have always wanted to try. I think I will pull out some of my frozen berries and try it with them (hopefully they will work as well as fresh). I hope Pi Man has nightmares about a giant blueberry rolling down the hill toward him. If he were here, he would be the first one to help himself to these homemade masterpieces, HA! Keep on a-pickin' Carol!
