My husband and I are off work for a 4-day weekend! We went to breakfast at Our Country Hearts in Endicott, and afterward went shopping in their giftshop. Naturally, I felt I had to stimulate the economy once again, so I bought this "Nature Calls" plaque to go with the outhouse theme in my bathroom. I love it! I also picked out an oak garbage container for my kitchen, and my husband bought it for me. It's a beautiful day out today, after a very cold last couple of days----just in time for my mini vacation! Oh, we also ordered new cushions for our large glider rocker. They won't be ready for 6-8 weeks, but then I'll have a nice pattern that will coordinate with the new sofa and chair we bought in the fall. I'm off for a week starting the 23rd of May, and will probably spend a large part of it spring cleaning, and maybe take a trip to Savona to visit with my sister, and my brother from New Orleans,who will be visiting with her at that time. So I have a lot to look forward to, and can't wait for the warmer weather.
